Substrate Sensor Node (VWC, EC & Temp)(WN-9)
The WN-9 Substrate Sensor Node is the dedicated sensing probe for the WCS-9 Substrate Sensor system, engineered to capture hyper-accurate root zone data. It is a professional-grade, 3-in-1 measurement device designed to operate flawlessly in both traditional soil and high-bulk EC soilless substrates.
Hardware and Precision Measurement - Each Sensor Node utilizes robust stainless steel spikes to continuously measure the Volumetric Water Content (VWC) and Electrical Conductivity (EC) of the growing medium. Furthermore, an embedded precision temperature sensor is built directly into the probe to accurately track root zone temperatures, ensuring cultivators have verified data for plant health and crop steering.
Daisy-Chain Connectivity and Scalability - To combat the limitations of single-sensor readings—which can be skewed by localized "hot spots" or water channeling—the Sensor Node is designed for an advanced multi-node architecture. Growers can physically daisy-chain up to four individual Sensor Nodes together. By using multiple nodes, the system captures data across various points in the medium to calculate a highly reliable average.
